Big Personality. Little Faces.

Happy girl pulling her braided hair.

The Only Photo Session Where Silly Faces Are Encouraged

The serious looks.

The missing teeth.

The dramatic expressions.

The belly laughs.

The faces that make you say,

"Yep. That's my kid."

Little Faces are playful black-and-white personality portrait sessions created for children in Central Mississippi.

These sessions aren't about perfect smiles or looking at the camera. They're about preserving the expressions, quirks, and personality traits that make your child uniquely them.

Years from now, when their voice sounds different, their baby teeth are gone, and they've outgrown this stage of childhood, these portraits will bring you right back to who they were in this moment.

Why Little Faces Are Different

Children's portraits are often about creating beautiful images.

Little Faces are about preserving personality.

The things that make you smile and say,

"That is so them."

No elaborate setups.
No pressure to smile.
No expectations for perfect behavior.

We sing songs, tell jokes, make silly noises, and occasionally ask Mom and Dad to do something embarrassing behind the camera.

The goal isn't perfection.

The goal is creating portraits that feel like your child.

For many children, Little Faces ends up being their favorite photo session ever.

Honestly, this is one of the questions I hear most often and it rarely ends up being a problem. After photographing children for more than 15 years and raising three boys of my own, I've learned a few tricks along the way. We sing songs, tell jokes, make silly noises, play games, and occasionally recruit Mom and Dad to do something embarrassing behind the camera.

The goal isn't perfect behavior. The goal is capturing your child's personality. Even the busiest, shyest, or most stubborn little ones usually give us something special. You might be surprised by what we create together.
